Let's Colour Sopron!
Sopron is one of the nicest cities in Hungary, next to the Austrian border, near to Wien. The underpass is in a busy area of the city with hundreds of people use it by bike or on foot every day. Dark and full of old and ugly graffiti, a local group of young cyclists decided toput it forward for the Let's Colour competition.
Thank You Paint Sneezing Hapci Benő!
Budakalász is a little town next to Budapest. It has an ecofriendly primary school, that won the Let's Colour competition, with all of the parents, children and the teachers voting every day to be able to paint the school before the start of the new term. Colour was not only needed outside but inside, with the old windows being replaced before the painting commenced.
Festival Time in Tés
Tés is a little village in the Bakony Mountains in Hungary that was in need of colour. The school, nursery, community house and the surgery were all in desperate need of renovation having not been painted for many years.
For a More Colourful Magyarcsanád!
Early in the morning, about 60 people, including volunteers from the local community and teachers, rolled up their sleeves to transform the exterior of a local school. Bright tones of green, yellow and pink were specially chosen for the colour scheme, which took two days to complete.
